Hna. Cannon here. Okay, we had so many miracles I just don't even know what to say. It's incredible. And I just spent forever writing President about it, so I only have like 10 min. to write about this. Yikes! Okay. I'll do my best.
ANDY! He is the most amazing person ever. On Oct. 1 he will complete 2 years of being clean from drugs. We encouraged him this week to quit smoking and coffee as well. He said he would pray about it. In Sunday school the lesson happened to be on the Word of Wisdom and he said right there in the manual were the answers to everything he'd been struggling with. He said he thought it was amazing that we teach health as part of our religion. He went and got a patch yesterday! He's going to do it! We are so proud of him. It's going to be hard, but we are going to do everything we can to help him quit. He's been to church like 7 times, he's currently in Alma 45 and wants to finish the whole Book of Mormon, he listens to talks by President Monson on his phone all the time. He's doing so well. Ah! We love him. Plus he's the best person ever.
We got Carl back! Turns out he's been struggling a ton. He's been fighting for custody of his son, Woody, who's having a really hard time adjusting. But Carl says he knows he needs God now more than ever. He wants to be baptized so bad, but he know he needs help. He should be able to get custody on Sep. 25, then he said the divorce should be pretty easy after that, then he wants bishop to marry he and his girlfriend Dawn, and he wants to be baptized on Oct. 26! Super exciting.
Oh my gosh. So many other people. I can't believe how many progressing investigator we have. I wish there was enough time to tell you!!!!
